SCHEDULING. SHOOTING. & PAYMENT QUESTIONS.
-
My studio is in West Hollywood. Melrose / Fairfax area. I work out of my house so it’s super comfy and easy. Specific address will be given to you once we’ve booked our date and your deposit has been put down!
-
This is almost a case by case basis. The more prepared you are wardrobe wise the faster the day will start. But I like to estimate about 30 minutes per look, plus makeup changes. Let me break this down a little better by looks.
2 looks - 3 hours (give or take)
3 looks - 4 hours (give or take)
4 looks - 4.5 - 5 hours (give or take)
Again, depending on how prepped you are wardrobe wise, if you have a makeup artist, and what kind of looks you are doing all factor into the timing. But above, is my best guesstimate.
-
YES! Every. Single. Photo. Is. Yours! You will receive all of your photos we took on your shoot day. All of them are High Resolution. No watermarks. And they are ready for greatness and yours to do whatever you want with!
You will receive your photos 2 days after shooting. You get all of the photos we take on your shoot date 2 days after your shoot. If you want any of those photos edited (which is not mandatory) once you email me your selects my turn around is anywhere from one day to 5 days depending on the workload but I’m pretty quick. With edits you get one included and any additional edits are $35 each. Again it’s not mandatory. I’d say half the clients I have choose to get photos edited but most people find they can use the photos without it.

You must make your deposit 3 days from receiving the email with your deposit information or your spot will be given to someone else.
Your deposit holds your spot and goes towards your shoot date. You can postpone your appointment once up to 1 week prior to your shoot.
Deposits are non refundable.
If you cancel or postpone your appointment within 1 week of your shoot date your deposit will be forfeited.
You can postpone your appointment before the cut off time with your current deposit one time only.
If you need to reschedule more than once the deposit will be forfeited.
Deposits are taken by virtual payments which we can discuss over email!
After the deposit is received My assistant Harper will reach out to you sometime in the next few days and give you all the info you'll need regarding info for your shoot day, location, payment, wardrobe suggestions, etc.
-
You can pay for the remaining balance of your shoot when we are wrapping up your photoshoot the day of! If you hired a makeup artist, they will also take payment on the day of your shoot.
-
We take mostly all payments.
We recently stopped using Venmo and Paypal. But here is a list of payments we take:
Zelle
CashApp
Check (day of only)
Cash (obviously)
We do take cards, but there is an additional 3% charge for using Credit Cards. (see next question)
-
We do take cards. There is a 3% additional fee tacked on to your total. I would suggest the other forms of payments above, but if you only have a credit card, we can handle that!
-
To be honest. I don’t love hunting down money. I’m sure you don’t either. So this is something I don’t rarely do.
But I understand that sometimes this the only option. Payment Plans are tricky and done on a case by case basis.
If you have representation with the main 5 Dance Agencies (BLOC, GTA, MTA, MSA, CTG) We can arrange a payment plan with your agents being in the know. Meaning, we keep them in the loop, and they work with me to make sure that all payments are due on time. If not, your agents can punish you accordingly:)
This has happened once and it wasn’t pretty
The other option is booking your shoot a month or two out and we start the payment plan before your shoot, that way you are paying a certain amount weekly or bi weekly until your shoot date and then on the day of your shoot, you will pay the remaining balance and the payment plan is completed.
If you haven’t finished your payment by the time of your shoot, I will hold on to the photos until you have paid off your balance. Once the balance is paid, you will receive your photos.
If you have been approved for a payment plan by meeting the guidelines, plus you have a makeup artist you are hiring for your shoot day, you will be expected to pay the makeup artist on the day of of your shoot. There is no payment plan for the make up artists.
Again, this is something I don’t love doing and will make exceptions for a small amount of people. If you can swing it without a payment plan, I highly advise you to not utilize this option. (which is not a common option!)

I book up pretty quickly. My clients usually book me about a month in advance. I’d say it’s pretty tough to get in last minute around here. But besides asking me for a few days out, you can really book your shoot as far out as you want!
-
Nope! I do not. Especially for people booking headshots. Outside shoots (or content shoots) are a completely different fee. I do not shoot outside.
-
Again, if you are booking for Headshots, No. Travel shoots or coming to you, similar to the question above, is also a completely different fee.
Travel shoots or shoots outside of my studio can be arranged, no problem. Just know my rates and packages page does not reflect the rates of a shoot that is not in my studio.

This is something that we work on together. I’m here with you through your whole shoot.
I don’t expect you to know what to do. Chances are you are not a model. Modeling is hard and it’s a separate profession for a reason. You’re not expected to be a model. Therefore, you shouldn’t really know how to take these photos. Headshots is something you do every few years so there is no reason for you to have acquired the skill of posing for headshots. It’s hardly something you can practice professionally.
I welcome failure, I welcome redundancy, and I absolutely welcome a lack of knowledge!
Together we figure out what reads best on your body in each look. We have moments where we review the photos together, and make sure we are both happy with how the day is going.
I promise we will get there and you will leave feeling more confident than you did leading up to your shoot.
Keep in mind. Headshots are the worst. I know this. I had to go through this as well and understand the pressure we put on ourselves to get these right. With that, I strive to make this a welcoming, safe space, where we welcome vulnerability and turn that into confidence for really great shots that make you the most sparkly version of you.
This is not ANTM! You don’t need to prove yourself. Together we’ll make magic.
And if you need a little extra boost of confidence that you can achieve the shots you want. Here are a few testimonials and reviews from clients that may help you pull the trigger and book your shoot

No! Come dressed in comfy clothes. We don't want you to get dirty or sweaty in your first look.
